| Soon thereafter my friend Despina Vodantis assumed the editorship of the Crimson-White, the student newspaper of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Despina liked the idea of including an original comic strip that would be unique to the C-W and asked if I could create one for her. So in the summer of 1971 I came up with a third version of Barefootz. This one made it into print and appeared regularly in the Crimson-White for a year.
In the opening introductory sequence, Glory returned, her strange powers intact. |
