A Tip of the Hat to Alan Moore
(Plus a bonus print)
This drawing of the great comics auteur Alan Moore counseling Charlie Brown dressed up as Batman was a portion of my contribution to an anthology of tributes to and observations about said auteur published in 2003 by Abiogenesis Press under the title Alan Moore: Portrait of an Extraordinary Gentleman.
I say that the original art shown above is but "a portion" of my contribution because in the book this image is accompanied by text and shading (see below) that was done on a separate sheet of paper and added digitally for publication.
Therefore, so as not to deny purchasers of the original art of the complete experience, I will throw in as a bonus a print of the full cartoon, suitable for framing, as generated by my home injet printer on high-quality 8.5"x11" paperand signed (with a personal inscription, if you like) by my own hand.
