A simple “gallery wall” of rectangular panels struck me as visually un-dramatic, though. Some interesting distortion would enliven things. Adobe Illustrator provided an easy way to accomplish this, the first step being to use the software’s LiveTrace function to convert my montage, which I composed it in Photoshop out of excerpted panels, from pixels into vectors.
