Adobe Photoshop vs. Apple’s Photo Booth: which best captures my ineffable grandeur? I leave you to ponder that question while I adjust to life with my new iMac. (Anyone want to suggest the best book for learning the GarageBand ropes?)

   I suggest David Pogue’s “Garageband the Missing Manual” - that’s the one I got back when I first got Garageband several years ago. Now I do a lot of work on it - podcasts, as DJ Maudlin, and with my wife as Chow Chow Superbaby. All that stuff is linked to on my blog if you want to hear examples of what it is capable of.

   Garageband is my favorite software ever, actually!
