| As of today, we have Eddie’s 95-year-old mother Evelyn living with us.
That’s finef-’n-ninetzik in Yiddish, according to Evelyn. P.S. I just noticed that our haunting and inspiring woodcut print of Frederick Douglass is peering over Eddie’s shoulder in one of the photographs above. That’s the work of our longtime friend Ann Grifalconi, the Caldecott Award-winning children’s book author and illustrator. |
